Aisha Jamila Hinds has been an American actress for more than 10 years. Her credits are in The Shield as well as True Blood. Her range of talents has been proven through TV shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7, and Under the Dome since she first made an appearance acting in 2003. Her first recognition came from her character Anna in the film Assault on Precinct 13. It was however her performance as women's rights activist Fannie Lou Hamer on the film biographical All the Way that finally made her an actress. Hind was also praised for the role she performed as Harriet Tubman within WGN America's historical drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 9-1-1 has been renewed for the third series by 20th Century Fox Television. Hind is currently filming the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is scheduled to release mid-2019. Her father Krishnaraj died in March 2017 after a long career as a scientist in India's Army. Vrinda, her mother is a housewife. Aditya is her elder brother who is also an engineer in the merchant navy. His brother wrote and produced the movie Dil Ka Rishta with their mother. Arya Vidya Mandir, Mumbai was the place where her parents moved. Following her completion of intermediate courses through Jai Hind College, she enrolled at D.G. Ruparel College Matunga, where she scored a 90% mark for her H.S.C. exams. She spent the first five years in adolescence doing classical dance and studying music. Zuology was her favorite subject. Bachchan was a student of architecture when she was elected Miss World in 1994. This title was a boost to her career in the model industry. She also received an impressive contract with L'Oreal Paris as spokesmodel in 2003. Two of the first films she made in her career were Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya as well as Iruvar. Bachchan was thrust into the front of New Bollywood after both films disrupted the established structure of Bollywood films of the time. The heart-breaking performance of Bachchan as Paro, the lover who is livid during Devdas (2002) which was one of the most well-known Bollywood movies of that time. Its premiere at Cannes Film Festival cemented her as the queen of Bollywood. After that, she was rewarded with high praise for her role in Chokher Bali (2003) a tense drama based on Rabindranath Tagore's book. The following year, she was named the first Indian actress to be on the Cannes Film Festival Jury. Bachchan played the role of Bride and Prejudice, a dance and musical adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice by Gurinderchadha. The beauty and fame of Bachchan were then brought together for her debut English language movie. After the film's release, Provoked: A True Story in English, she went back to Bollywood and starred in the big-budget Dhoom: 2 (2007). Abhishek Bachchan was married in April 2007. He's both an Bollywood star and regular co-star.
